House Reconstruction Helping Hand
2019-11-26Alampady Arts & Sports Club (AASC), established in Alampady, Kasaragod, has been actively engaged in charitable and community development initiatives, reflecting its strong commitment to social responsibility. As part of its humanitarian efforts, AASC undertook the noble project of reconstructing a house for a financially struggling family in North Thaykal, Alampady. The project was successfully completed at an estimated cost of ₹2,28,000, funded through generous contributions from well-wishers and dedicated support from club members. The newly constructed house was formally handed over during a public function organized by AASC, marking a meaningful milestone in the club’s ongoing charity initiatives. The house key was officially presented by P. S. Sreeram, IAS, District Collector of Kasaragod, in the presence of local leaders, club members, and residents. This initiative highlights AASC Alampady’s commitment not only to promoting arts and sports but also to uplifting underprivileged communities through impactful service.
